Some people collect fans ( like my bow), some collect shoes (like my tinka), others collect electronics like my dad and then there are the ones like me who collect hats. I have always loved hat from since forever, they complete any outfit and I love seeing new and unique hat like the Vivienne Westwood Mountain hat also known as the Pharrell hat. There are two hats that I am dying to add to my collection a Simon and Mary (the colors are amazing and bright) made in Johannesburg, South Africa and the infamous Vivienne Westwood mountain hat which has been sold out for years.

I wear many different hair styles from super "Pocahontas" long to "pixie cut" short, I enjoy switching it up and adding a bit of pizazz to my look, but sometimes when I want to wear my hat it is either blowing away because of the wind or its not fitting on my head at all. So, I have the solution to fix all of the hat woes, a hair pin.So gather around Im about to drop some knowledge.

Here is what you'll need... scissors and 1-2 hair pins. Take your scissors put two holes on the inside strip of the hat towards the back and depending on how secure I want the hat I would do the same to the front part also making sure that the front is secure. You can also do the same thing to the sides instead of doing the front and back it all depends on the make of the hat.

Cut off the tags, apply the pins and now its time to place the hat where ever you want it to fit on you cabeza. Sometimes I like to where my hat further back on my head and sometimes I like my whole head covered, it all depends on the look Im going for.

Pin it down, it will be crooked but have no fear just keep on adjusting until it is straight or to your desired look.

Then voila! its secured and your feeling yourself, well at least I am.

Enjoy
XO
