I've been seeing this challenge all over social media, its been popping up on my Instagram and all over YouTube. So, even though I have yet to venture into the world of vlogging I decided to do it on my blog and there are a few things that I have to say, so here I go.

I love makeup, I love the things that you can do with makeup, new products are always dropping and new techniques are always being taught. I've learned recently that there are no rules when it comes to makeup, do what you like and just have fun.

But, I feel that makeup should not be something that hides YOU, its there to enhance ones beauty and I definitely don't want people to think that with this challenge being so popular and so many of us are doing it, showing off the before and after looks that we need makeup to function in the world, cause we don't.

We love makeup because its another artist form of expression or some of use wear it because we have acne, scarring, dark circles or even facial tattoos that needs to be covered because of work or whatever it may be.

I respect makeup artist cause the talent is unbelievable and even though I am not a makeup artist I enjoy trying and learning new things.

So with all that being said keep those brushes pointed, the banana powder flying and the lips pouted for selfies and show off your makeup looks, I know I will.

Weird - suggest something supernatural; uncanny, induce a sense of disbelief or alienation of someone.

Okay so that is the definition of weird and I am none of that shit above. I absolutely hate being called weird, weirdo or odd, cause I am not. I love trying new things going new places meeting new people and learning about new cultures, we are all different and unique in  our own ways, so why do people feel the need to criticize and ostracize other people and their creative artistry? It literally baffles me every time.

Fashion is another form of art another way for people to express themselves, you can tell a lot about a person by the way they dress. I was browsing YouTube one night on my iPad and before the video started a H&M commercial popped up and just when I was going to hit the skip button located on the lower right side, it had me at "Wear a hat indoors" and I was hooked to be honest it brought a tear to my left eye. I love this commercial it is all me, stand out, blend in, mix prints, show it all, be trashy, look fake, take a stand, be uniform, be liberated, be old be new. THERE ARE NO RULES IN FASHION. NONE.

Also, I thought to myself damn I needed to be in this commercial, just saying.

Enjoy

Nope I am not a Pro but in another world on my planet I am. There is no need for me to go into a long spiel about my love for makeup because Ive done that already. So I am just going to tell you all the products I used.

The first thing I do is wash and prep my face, I was my face with a new product that I am trying Origins Refreshing Ginzing Face Scrub then I use Olive Oil as a moisturizer may sound weird but it is great. While my face is soaking up the Olive Oil I either get dressed or work on my hair.

After that I work on my "geisha brows" there is a certain way that I like to do my brows I am not into the defined arch for me but I love it on so many other people but its not my cup of tea, no shade.
I will do a step by step post on everything I use and brow product I'm not a huge fan of but for this look I used my ABH #12 brush (Anastasia Beverly Hills) and MAKEUP FOREVER #40 Aqua brow.

I wanted to try a different face primer so I used the NARS Pro Prime. It looks white but when you rub it into your skin it has a gold/rose gold undertone to it and OMG it is pretty and lightweight, one of my favorite primers ever.

On my eyes I can never do the fancy bright cool looks that I see so many girls doing but I love the grunge junkie eye look and for some strange reason I am really good at doing that. For this look I like using reds, burgundy, black and nudes, I started of with the KVD (Kat Von D) High Voltage Eye Primer then I used my MAKEUP FOREVER M 876 Morello Cherry all over and blended until it looked smooth then i used MAKEUP FOREVER M608 and put that in the inner part of my eye and blended and last I used ME406 Metallic in the tear duct and on the bottom of my eye. I applied the same colors on the lower part of my eye and again blended lightly.

Applied some mascara and now eyes are done, man!

I used my MAKEUP FOREVER foundation in 177 & 178 (mixed both) and used my Sephora Pro Airbrush #55 amazing brush. Then I concealed all of my spots with KVD Lock it full coverage concealer in deep 38.

Now it is time to contour, I used M.A.C. Dark Deepest and I love to contour also by my brows down the nose. I grabbed my BenNye banana powder and placed it under my eyes, middle of my forehead, and under the contour by my cheek bones, let it bake baby!

While that is setting I'm looking at the huge mess that I eventually have to clean up.

Wipe away the banana powder and your face is looking snatched, I love that stuff. Now its unto the highlight, I am completely obsessed with the Becca Champagne Pop Jaclyn Hill it everything and more. I place this everywhere I can, on the cheek bones, cupids bow, at the top arch of the brow, brow bone, tip of nose and halfway down the nose bridge. GLOW, GLOW, GLOW.

On the lips I am wearing Stone by M.A.C. yup it the lipstick to the famous stone lip liner and it is bangerz.

Last, I sprayed my face with KVD Setting mist and to me this smells like fresh cucumbers.

I enjoy using all of these products, yes I would recommend them to anyone and I will repurchase.

Enjoy

Some people collect fans ( like my bow), some collect shoes (like my tinka), others collect electronics like my dad and then there are the ones like me who collect hats. I have always loved hat from since forever, they complete any outfit and I love seeing new and unique hat like the Vivienne Westwood Mountain hat also known as the Pharrell hat. There are two hats that I am dying to add to my collection a Simon and Mary (the colors are amazing and bright) made in Johannesburg, South Africa and the infamous Vivienne Westwood mountain hat which has been sold out for years.

I wear many different hair styles from super "Pocahontas" long to "pixie cut" short, I enjoy switching it up and adding a bit of pizazz to my look, but sometimes when I want to wear my hat it is either blowing away because of the wind or its not fitting on my head at all. So, I have the solution to fix all of the hat woes, a hair pin.So gather around Im about to drop some knowledge.

Here is what you'll need... scissors and 1-2 hair pins. Take your scissors put two holes on the inside strip of the hat towards the back and depending on how secure I want the hat I would do the same to the front part also making sure that the front is secure. You can also do the same thing to the sides instead of doing the front and back it all depends on the make of the hat.

Cut off the tags, apply the pins and now its time to place the hat where ever you want it to fit on you cabeza. Sometimes I like to where my hat further back on my head and sometimes I like my whole head covered, it all depends on the look Im going for.

Pin it down, it will be crooked but have no fear just keep on adjusting until it is straight or to your desired look.

Then voila! its secured and your feeling yourself, well at least I am.
