One of my favorite things to do is DIY, especially taking vintage tee that looks brand spanking new and turning it into a distressed worn out old 1980's tee or taking a basic leather jacket or a army jacket adding some spikes and paint to it voila, perfection. The crazy thing is people always ask "Hey, where did you get that from? and my response is its a DIY. The look on their faces is priceless.
But, yeah this Run DMC tee had sleeves and it looked perfect, a little to perfect for my liking, so I went to work. I chopped the sleeves of slit the armpits a little lower, cut holes all over the place and last I added some bleach to a wash cloth and bleached certain area. I did not was the tee afterwards I left it to air dry overnight, then I rocket it with this crotchet lace skirt that I bought from Torrid.com
You see, there is no need to pay for expensive vintage tee, as a matter of fact any old tee can be turned into a "vintage" piece.
In my eyes just like makeup, there are no rules when it comes to YOUR personal style. Fashion is meant to be broken and experimenting with new looks, trends, colors, textiles, and so much more.
