Zelie For She.

I couldn't start my day off without my new obsession in my hat ... Grande Carmel Apple Spiced it is so addicting and good, so a couple of months ago I entered a competition on IG and it was hosted by Kelly B Augustine for hwat fashionable plus size women and of course me being the concieted person that I am, I entered.

I won a gift certificate to Zelie For She, now the excitement was real because I've seen the designs and I've always wanted several pieces from her collections so when I won I was extremely happy.

I ordered the wide leg pant it is very versatile and super comfy, the fun part is you can dress it up by adding some heels or wedges or dress it down by wearing some converses or vans and a graphic tee. Im kind of in the middle cause I paired it with a sparkle jacket from Torrid just to give it a little pizazz and besides who doesn't like to sparkle.

Definitely check out the website zelieforshe.com her styles are pretty awesome, the clothes fit well, super comfy and you will look so sexy and fashionable.

I adore denim on denim it looks so great together and I believe that every girl should have a denim shirt, skirt, shorts and of course a good pair of denim jeans. This is a look that anyone can pull off whether your fat, skinny, short, tall, round, square it doesn't matter there is no discrimination in a good pair of denim. Just have fun with it, mix and match different denim and enjoy adding key statement pieces like shunpike gold jewelry, tons of pearls, big hoop earrings what ever floats your boat.

I like to keep it clean and basic but with a splash of gold. Gold earrings, watch, necklace, rings and on the tip of my shoes there is a trim of gold.

It all comes down to the way you want to jazz up the denim and with this look there is no right or wrong way to do it, its all about experimenting and having fun. So let your imagination run wild my denimites and have fun.

My Little Empties Haul.

Top Left - Shea Moisture Replenish Hair mask is my FAVORITE my hair loves this stuff, I' so hooked on this my hair feels moisturized and soft and delish.

I HATE the Keratin Replenish hair mask, I did not use it on my hair but I used it on my extensions and it was whack it did nothing at all to the hair but the Coconut Oil and Lime Peel hydration mask was AH-MAZING and I used it on my extensions and it feels so soft and it helps with the frizzes, both packs are $1.99 each.

The tiny green bottle is the Macadamia Oil Treatment and I love this product I've been eyeing it for awhile so instead of investing in the big bottle which retails for $28 I bout the trail size for $4but eventually I splurged and bout the big bottle.

Dry Bar Sake Bomb is a nice product but the Shea Moisture works a lot better on my natural hair a lot of people hate the smell but I love it, this line is a nice one but do I love it, not really.

CINEMA SECRETS is my everything I adore and love this instant brush cleaner, the brushes clean quickly and dries super fast, it has a vanilla scent but its not over powering. I bought the starter kit for $25 and it comes with a tin to pour the solution in and the cool thing is the tin has a twist on cap so no spillage and you can save the liquid for another use. I LOVEEEEEEE this product so much that I bough the big bottle 36oz for $36, great buy.

Origins face scrub its okay I could wait to finish it so that i could try something different great price $20 but it aint all that. NEXT...

Bottom right - Boscia Girl On The Fly great product $15 come with a 4 step facial system, Cleanser, hydration, sleeping mask and charcoal mask I tried this when I went on a little vacay and it came in handy, so yes I will repurchase.

Skipping over the Dry Bar....

Sephora travel size brush cleaner $8 also a great product cleaned my brushes really well and its great to travel with.

Urban Decay Bang blush bright red awesome for using as an eyeshadow have yet to try it but I loved the color and I've been wanting it so I bought it $20-$25

M.A.C refill eyeshadows in concrete and a forest green I love mac eyeshadows goes on smooth, minimal fall out and the colors are amazing $10 each.

That Creamy Crack.

Contour Cream Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills

Brushes that I use Link below

Sephora Pro Contour Brush #79
http://www.sephora.com/pro-contour-brush-79-P395103?skuId=1673839

By the title of this post your probably wondering WHAT THE Hell is she talking about, well ladies and gents it is the ABH Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette its $40 and worth every single dollar.

If I was a vlogger the excitement would be unreal cause I would be screaming and acting like the guy from the Patti Labelle pie videos. ---> link below (its funny as hell check it out) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQRwFn7WPk8

I have heard amazing things about this contour palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills and of course I had to get my hands on one. I bought the deep palette and I love it, its a cream contour, the top three shades are for highlighting and the bottom three are for contouring. I noticed that when I applied the highlighter shade to my face it shimmered a bit and when I blended it out it was so smooth and effortlessly. Love it!!! Since I took the contouring class at SephoraI have been hooked on contouring my face, i love the way it looks, it enhances the face ands depth and dimension it everythang.

The great thing about this kit is you can order refills for $12 which is not bad at all, their are a lot of contour palettes out there Kat Von D, Coverfx, Kevyn Aucoin, Makeup Forever, Laura Mercier and Smashbox.

I love the Kat Von D especially when I want to go with that matte zombie effect, the Anastasia give me that bright well defined look. The next one that I want to purchase is the Coverfx in N-Deep, I've heard really good things about it and I've watched it on my hand several times and truthfully the golden highlight in the coverfx palette is ah-mazing, it runs for $48 pricier than the Anastasia but the same price as the KVD palette.

I was on the fence about this dress for two reason 1) Another black piece to add to my wardrobe and 2). I was attracted to the white dress but my size was nowhere to be found. Everyone thinks that big girls only like to wear black clothes because its slimming, we love wearing leggings because its black, spandex and comfortable.

Oh, lets not forget the oversized tees with the aloha bear plastered on the front, now thats a complete big girls outfit as a matter of fact its our go to outfit, now that maybe true for some big girls who are hiding themselves or ashamed of their bodies and have no kind of confidence at all, but the big girls of this era don't have time for that fuckery we love color, brights, nudes, burgundy, red, pink, purple all shades of colors actually, except for those damn pastels I'll pass on that one thank you very much.

I picked this dress up four times and put it back three times, the fourth and final time I said to myself that if I can't make up my mind by the time I reach the cashier Im not going to get it, I walked around in circles until I reached the long checkout line. When I heard I'll take the next person in line I knew I was screwed cause I was still confused and lonely so I reached out for help and the sweet lady was of no use cause she had no answer or justification why I should or should not buy this dress with the whack ass saying "You Are What You Wear".

Am I what I wear is what I asked the cashier as she smirked and gazed at me like a deer in headlights. Again i asked lady  Am I what I wear, do you give two fucks what i wear and her response was... "Ummmmmm " with shoulders shrugged, the cashier next to her with these amazing bushy eyebrows chuckled, then I said okay Ill put it on hold and just when I was about to fill out the hold take it came to me just buy the damn dress and leave, so I did and now I am here with a receipt that says EXCHANGES OR STORE CREDIT ONLY, NO REFUNDS. What the hell, I guess I am What I Wear and some what screwed if I wanted to get my money back.

Setting Spray - E.L.F Cosmetics smells like cucumbers

Who doesn't love playing in makeup? If I was ever asked that question my response would be how could you not love playing and experimenting with makeup. To me makeup is another way of creating, an artistic form, self expression, showing the world your creativity and giving zero fucks  about what the naysayers are thinking about your style.

I love makeup, I love creating and trying new looks on myself, and nope I'm not a makeup artist I just love playing in it. I mean seriously its a lot of fun and the best part is seeing everything come together. So because I do not vlog at the moment ( trying to get myself to actually start and quit being a pussy about it) I decided to show you guys all the products I used to create this look. Some of the items listed below are not pictured, sorry but I did list everything that I used.

*Side Note* I've been playing in my mother's makeup since I was a little girl. You see this gorgeous woman standing in front of the mirror smelling of a sweet scented fragrance hair pinned and tucked in the right position and on the counter is a bag full of lipstick, mascara, pencils (lip & eye) a compact filled with colorful powder, tons of makeup brushes, q-tips and wipes the list goes on but all you are trying to do is recreate the look that your mother is creating in that well lit mirror but you end up looking like a disaster, but in your mothers eyes you look like a masterpiece. Just wanted to take you on a little trip down memory lane.

Its the Monster Mash.

Outfit
Skull Hands Tank & Jacket- Torrid.com
Skull Leggings - Asos.com
Lace Dress - Forever 21
Boots - Bed Stu

I've dressed up for halloween before well only twice in my life one time as Michael Jackson's Thriller and the other time as a punk rockstar, after that my spooky dress up days came to a demise, moment of silence please. Today I decided to do a little something something and prayed that it will come out right, fingers crossed.

Here is what I did...

So, I prepped my skin with Bare Minerals Blemish gel primer cause I have a few breakouts, then I used my Kat Von D deep 74 foundation, I used my Urban Decay concealer in deep neutral for a highlight, then I used my Kat Von D (KVD) Mi Vida Loca palette to create the dimension in the eyes.  I started off with the dark brown called Vox all over the eye and blended all the way to the inner eye up to the brow, also I used the same color to add darkness by the nose area, under the lips and the corner of the mouth.

Then I used Lyric and Strutter to give some light around the cheeks and lower part of the chin, I also used the KVD Shade and Light eye contour palette to add some brown tint under the eye and on the lid, after that I used my Melt Cosmetics palette the shade Dark Matter under the eyes to give the dark effect lastly I went in with my Makeup forever build your own palette and used the colors M928 and M846 to give the red plumpish bruised look. Gosh, I hope this makes sense.

For the lips I used M.A.C. Growing Trends Lipstick and then again I went in with dark matter from Melt Cosmetics and shaded in my inner lips.

To finish off the look I sprayed my face with the E.L.F makeup setting spray.

I had a blast creating this look at first I was really unsure of the end results but I must say I love it and I had so much fun, Oh and I believe that walkers should have a nice hot cup of Toasted Graham Latte with Soy milk extra hot. Yumm-O.

I love culture and learning about different ethnicity, its so interesting to learn about how people from different background live and the history from where they come from. Anyone who knows me know that I love to travel and learn, I want to see and visit so many places and one of my dream places to visit and tour as a local is Tokyo I love their culture, food, self expression, makeup, art and most of all fashion.
Its weird really, in New York we copy their style, the way the dress plays a huge role in our daily looks and in Japan they are copying our street wear and hip hop looks, so it is safe to say that we are feeding off each other and taking looks that both cultures are doing and putting our own twist on them.
but one day, one day I will be in Japan sipping macha, taking picture with Japanese graffiti as my backdrop, having great conversations and dancing along with the moving lights.

Warning This Post is Something SERIOUS... NOT.

I've always dreamed of going to fashion week and one my dream will become a reality but for now I will pretend and live in a world of make believe. I will be sitting in the front row looking fierce and different  from the rest of the fashionistas sitting near and around me. I will be photographed and interviewed by other bloggers and fashion magazines, it will be spectacular.
Some of the designers that I would want to see are KYE, Betsey Johnson, Thomas Wylde, Anna Sui and Public School.

I pray that one day not only will I go to New York Fashion Week but I will also go to Paris fashion week, then I would be able to scratch that off of my bucket list.

So I put together a few pieces of what I will wear to fashion week and to me its all about self expression and wearing what ever you like, what makes you happy. One thing I would not say is that I breathe, sleep and eat fashion cause I don't but I do love it, I enjoy seeing different looks come together (some look great and some not so great) but its what makes me happy, so some people may say, wtf plaid with star socks???? Nah, no way, get the hell out of here, try again, but to me it adds character and uniqueness and it makes me smile.

So my definition of fashion is FASHION = NO RULES

I've been seeing this challenge all over social media, its been popping up on my Instagram and all over YouTube. So, even though I have yet to venture into the world of vlogging I decided to do it on my blog and there are a few things that I have to say, so here I go.

I love makeup, I love the things that you can do with makeup, new products are always dropping and new techniques are always being taught. I've learned recently that there are no rules when it comes to makeup, do what you like and just have fun.

But, I feel that makeup should not be something that hides YOU, its there to enhance ones beauty and I definitely don't want people to think that with this challenge being so popular and so many of us are doing it, showing off the before and after looks that we need makeup to function in the world, cause we don't.

We love makeup because its another artist form of expression or some of use wear it because we have acne, scarring, dark circles or even facial tattoos that needs to be covered because of work or whatever it may be.

I respect makeup artist cause the talent is unbelievable and even though I am not a makeup artist I enjoy trying and learning new things.

So with all that being said keep those brushes pointed, the banana powder flying and the lips pouted for selfies and show off your makeup looks, I know I will.

Weird - suggest something supernatural; uncanny, induce a sense of disbelief or alienation of someone.

Okay so that is the definition of weird and I am none of that shit above. I absolutely hate being called weird, weirdo or odd, cause I am not. I love trying new things going new places meeting new people and learning about new cultures, we are all different and unique in  our own ways, so why do people feel the need to criticize and ostracize other people and their creative artistry? It literally baffles me every time.

Fashion is another form of art another way for people to express themselves, you can tell a lot about a person by the way they dress. I was browsing YouTube one night on my iPad and before the video started a H&M commercial popped up and just when I was going to hit the skip button located on the lower right side, it had me at "Wear a hat indoors" and I was hooked to be honest it brought a tear to my left eye. I love this commercial it is all me, stand out, blend in, mix prints, show it all, be trashy, look fake, take a stand, be uniform, be liberated, be old be new. THERE ARE NO RULES IN FASHION. NONE.

Also, I thought to myself damn I needed to be in this commercial, just saying.
