Ive heard about this color correcting thing before but never really got into it. Its all over YouTube, Instagram, M.A.C., Sephora and Ulta and honestly it never interested me before until I read this booklet that I got from Sephora and asked tons of questions, so now Im going to school you.
Purple is for sallowness
Orange is for dark spots
Green is to correct redness
Pink brightens dark areas
Peach dark circles under the eyes
Yellow corrects dullness
I used to cover my darkspots with concealer and sometimes it will still show through and it used to bother me a lot cause no matter what I did the dark spots from my acne will still show up. There are some expensive correctors like Marc Jacobs and ten there are reasonably priced ones that are just as good if not better like L.A. Girls or CoverFX, I guess it really all depends on what you like. I personally prefer L.A. Girls corrector it is so good and so cheap, I get it at my local beauty supply store for $3 and at that price you can't go wrong. I will never go without a color corrector its everything, my makeup looks so flawless and smooth and I find it blends better whenever I use a beauty blender instead of a brush or my fingers.
