I've dressed up for halloween before well only twice in my life one time as Michael Jackson's Thriller and the other time as a punk rockstar, after that my spooky dress up days came to a demise, moment of silence please. Today I decided to do a little something something and prayed that it will come out right, fingers crossed.

Here is what I did...

So, I prepped my skin with Bare Minerals Blemish gel primer cause I have a few breakouts, then I used my Kat Von D deep 74 foundation, I used my Urban Decay concealer in deep neutral for a highlight, then I used my Kat Von D (KVD) Mi Vida Loca palette to create the dimension in the eyes.  I started off with the dark brown called Vox all over the eye and blended all the way to the inner eye up to the brow, also I used the same color to add darkness by the nose area, under the lips and the corner of the mouth.

Then I used Lyric and Strutter to give some light around the cheeks and lower part of the chin, I also used the KVD Shade and Light eye contour palette to add some brown tint under the eye and on the lid, after that I used my Melt Cosmetics palette the shade Dark Matter under the eyes to give the dark effect lastly I went in with my Makeup forever build your own palette and used the colors M928 and M846 to give the red plumpish bruised look. Gosh, I hope this makes sense.

For the lips I used M.A.C. Growing Trends Lipstick and then again I went in with dark matter from Melt Cosmetics and shaded in my inner lips.

To finish off the look I sprayed my face with the E.L.F makeup setting spray.

I had a blast creating this look at first I was really unsure of the end results but I must say I love it and I had so much fun, Oh and I believe that walkers should have a nice hot cup of Toasted Graham Latte with Soy milk extra hot. Yumm-O.

Enjoy

I love culture and learning about different ethnicity, its so interesting to learn about how people from different background live and the history from where they come from. Anyone who knows me know that I love to travel and learn, I want to see and visit so many places and one of my dream places to visit and tour as a local is Tokyo I love their culture, food, self expression, makeup, art and most of all fashion.
Its weird really, in New York we copy their style, the way the dress plays a huge role in our daily looks and in Japan they are copying our street wear and hip hop looks, so it is safe to say that we are feeding off each other and taking looks that both cultures are doing and putting our own twist on them.
but one day, one day I will be in Japan sipping macha, taking picture with Japanese graffiti as my backdrop, having great conversations and dancing along with the moving lights.

Warning This Post is Something SERIOUS... NOT.

I've always dreamed of going to fashion week and one my dream will become a reality but for now I will pretend and live in a world of make believe. I will be sitting in the front row looking fierce and different  from the rest of the fashionistas sitting near and around me. I will be photographed and interviewed by other bloggers and fashion magazines, it will be spectacular.
Some of the designers that I would want to see are KYE, Betsey Johnson, Thomas Wylde, Anna Sui and Public School.

I pray that one day not only will I go to New York Fashion Week but I will also go to Paris fashion week, then I would be able to scratch that off of my bucket list.

So I put together a few pieces of what I will wear to fashion week and to me its all about self expression and wearing what ever you like, what makes you happy. One thing I would not say is that I breathe, sleep and eat fashion cause I don't but I do love it, I enjoy seeing different looks come together (some look great and some not so great) but its what makes me happy, so some people may say, wtf plaid with star socks???? Nah, no way, get the hell out of here, try again, but to me it adds character and uniqueness and it makes me smile.

So my definition of fashion is FASHION = NO RULES
