Lock It.

Dry Bar - Sake Bomb Shampoo & Conditioner - $24 each
MakeUpForever Pro Duo Sculpting - $36
Urban Decay Eyeshadow - $18
Smashbox Lipstick - $20
KVD Lock-It Foundation - $35

Makeup is an addiction, an obsession, a craving, it's everything. Foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadows, primers, lipsticks, beauty blenders, brushes, brush cleaner, skincare, I mean the list goes on and on.

To be able to take a basic face/canvas and transform or recreate a completely different look is something special. Some people are really bad at applying makeup, some people are geniuses, some are fast learners and others just need all the help that they can get, luckily I'm a fast learner, Professional nope but I love to dabble here and there.

I am so happy to say that I have met some amazingly talented people at Sephora who have taught me so many tips and tricks. One jewel taught me that there are NO RULES when it comes to makeup, another lovely lady taught me about cleaning and taking care of my brushes, one darling cherry blossom taught me about bronzers and skincare, another one who is as bright as the sky taught me that you can use mixtures of eyeshadows to create highlighters for the face and also eye pencils for lipstick, bite size and trouble I like to pick there brains and question them about every and anything in the store. I have learned so much from many of the sephora cast members, they are all so talented and lovely.

Dry bar the brand is amazing the products are great and they work on all textures, I picked up their shampoo and conditioner Sake Bomb. My hair feels so hydrated and soft, love it.

I bought this product before but it broke when I was traveling and luckily I was able to exchange it out for another one. I bought #2 and it highlights and gives me a wonderful bronzer look.

Urban Decay Sideline eyeshadow is a wonderful iridescent golden greenish look and paired with their fireball eyeshadow it makes a sexy highlighter for the face.

Smashbox Infrared Matte lipstick is everything, I first tried it on when I was digging through my aunts makeup bag and I fell in love with it and I had to buy it immediately.

Now this is the main reason for this post, I love a good full coverage foundation that does not break me out and my top three are...

1) KVD
2) Nars All- Day
3) Make Up Forever
4) YSL Fusion Ink (had to throw this one in there cause it is also a fav)

My KVD I have been waiting for Sephora to get re-stocked either in the stores or online which ever came first and it has been months, as soon as they received it in the stores, I stocked up. They only received five and because I didn't want to be greedy and buy all, I only bought three. I love KVD's makeup line everything in my opinion is just fabulous, so if you haven't tried it I suggest you do.

Lace Dress - Artist Unknown
Racerback Skull Tank - Torrid.com
Destroyed shorts - Lane Bryant and DIY by Saint Lovers
Converses - East Village
Glasses - Yersie

Lace who doesn't love lace, it looks great on everything from wedding dresses, casual wear and even business attire. I also love anything that is revealing and shows off a little bit of skin, well this shows off everything but its all about how you pair it underneath.

I wanted something different, something that would make people say either two things 1) That is so cute or 2) What the hell does she have on. Now, for those who respond with numero uno thanks boo you have great fashion sense and the punks and c*nts who are number 2 off with you head losers, be gone.

Can I say that I love these racerback tanks from torrid.com they are super comfy and ridiculously fly as hell, you can pair them with cute skater skirts, leggings and a see thru shirt (there i go again with revealing clothes, I' addicted) and even a low cut dress, its what ever you like or feel like rocking but these tanks are really adorbs.

Another thing I love converses who will hardly ever see me in high heels cause I hate them, I do like wedges but I hate absolutely hate heels they are so uncomfortable, but chucks, converses what ever you want to call it I LOVE it. Red, green, black, navy, white black, all black and burgundy, oh me oh my, and they look amazing with any outfit, any outfit. Plus the older they get the better they feel and look.

I did have on makeup but the humidity in sweet Trinidad washed it all away, but what I plan on doing is recreating the looks that I did in Trinidad and posting them on the blog, cause they were some really nice makeup looks and I even amazed myself. So, STAY TUNED!!!

I'm A Bad Bitch... but Are YOU Happy?

I've been sitting here trying to find the proper words to write this post, I keep deleting sentences rephrasing words because I, am at a lost. I mean don't get me wrong I love this picture minus the stickers on the mirror and the geisha looking wig stand to the right and the background ambiance isn't what I was going for but what the hell the person in the mirror is the main focus and she is bad. Conceited yes, confident yes, ashamed no a big Hell Fu!king NO.

Some people may say that I should not post this picture because I do not fit the "bikini" stature or I should be ashamed and embarrassed or better yet they feel embarrassed for me. But my question to them is Are you happy? You might be wondering or even a bit puzzled at this question, well let me explain.

Are YOU Happy? This is an important question many people would say yes but many would say no and for those who say yes then a round of appaluse for you and me. Those who sit down there and judge or criticize others for being themselves whether they are fat, transgendered, gay, bi whatever, those people the haters the ones who feel it necessary to humiliate or put down the ones who are happy are some of the saddest people on earth. They are jealous of those who are happy and living their lives, the ones who don't give two flying fucks what others have to say are the ones who will look back on life and say Yes I had a happy life, I did what I wanted, went where I wanted, dress how I wanted, laughed as loud as I wanted, smiled when I wanted even though the world was not smiling back at me.  Yes I had a happy life, I am Happy.

People who are not happy and feel that they can't do certain thing because of what others might think or because of what their peers might say never want to be alone so they have a huge group of others who are brain washed to go along with their foolish foolery, sad, miserable unhappy lives. You know what this little powerful quote is so true, the more I live the more I see its truth "Misery loves company".  I can't live a miserable, lonely, sad boring basic non existent life, I just can't, this world is filled with to much beauty and light and I thank God for it everyday.

So I'll leave you with this, enjoy life, do what makes you happy, smile even though life throws bricks at you and if you want to wear a bikini but you have cellulite or your belly is big or there is no thigh gap, wear it and wear it like a bad bitch.

That Ain't Cute Boo.

Dress - Asos
Bralette - Cacique
Shoes - Y.R.U
Glasses - Calvin Klein
Watch - MK
Earrings - F21

I loved this dress, simplicity at its best, well at least that is what I thought. Where do I begin, lets see....
Okay, I first saw this dress browsing through Asos, now a side note, I live on asos.com and when I saw this dress I was like yes simple black dress perfect for my up incoming trip. I was so excited to wear it, as a matter of fact the layout you see above is how I envisioned this look. I also thought that for the fall this dress would be something sexy, paired with a leather moto jacket, funky hat, chunky jewelry and a bold red lip. The ideas, so many ideas and then the disappointment, the epic fail.

When I was in Trinidad for my granny's birthday (which was a big turn out) I was excited to wear this little all black number cause I knew that the humidity was going to kill me and I just wanted to stay cool, of course that didn't happen but you know...

First thing that I hated about this dress, the cut was too low so the bralette that I wore underneath was showing a little too much, I mean I wanted it to show a little bit cause the lace on it is so pretty but the upper half of the dress was too low. Then because the upper half was so low the line that separates the top from the bottom was reaching down by my waist "That ain't cute Boo". Lastly the dress was just over all to big, I love tight fitting body con dress and I thought that even though this material is a ribbed stretchy material, it would have fitted closer to the body and I was proven wrong very quickly. I did have another black dress but I would have been burnt to a crisp because it is long sleeved with fringes, so that couldn't work with the humidity.

If this dress was smaller I do believe that I would get the body con tight look that I was going for but I am still wondering if the top portion of the dress would fit perfect or still be to low and that is were the problem lies, I don't know what to do, right now I am leaning more on the side of a refund but we'll see, I'll probably try it on again and go from there.

I adore Egyptian prints, history, textile and anything and everything else, its just interesting to me. I featured this shirt with a matching skirt earlier this year on Instagram and also on this blog (I believe) but this shirt gets a lot of attention, people ask me all the time "Where did you get that" or they say "Wow thats a cool shirt".

Sometimes I wear the pieces separate, like I did in this post or I'll wear them together. Honestly its so much fun when I wear them separately, pairing them up with completely different patterns and colors, then dropping some funky accessories along with it can change a simple look into something funky and fresh. But, on this day it was HOT as hell, yes the wind was blowing and the smell of the fresh caribbean was in the air but DAMN I was sweating my ass off. Eventually after awhile my body readjusted to the temperature, well atlas that is what I was telling my self because the next step that I took was to get a STAG (beer) and boom the sweat was pouring all over again. All I could say was "Fix it Jesus".

Whats In My Bag.

Yup, Im heading out AGAIN... Im going to my second home Trinidad & Tobago to visit my family and to celebrate my granny's birthday and I am super excited to see everyone. It is so much fun when we all get together, its like I never left. Again, that post will be coming soon...

I am one of those people who loves to pack, I really enjoy putting together all of the outfits that I am taking, matching up shoes, hats and accessories, deciding what makeup looks I want to do and of course what hairstyle looks I want to achieve with each outfit; but this time Im putting my hair in the "solange braids" just to give my hair a rest.

Okay... Im go nowhere without my Glam glow and my Ole Henrikson makeup wipes, the makeup wipes I use to remove my makeup and it is infused with vitamin C and my glamglow hydrates my face.

I packed three makeup bags the floral bag ( not pictured) has my brushes, the benefit bag has my lipsticks and my stripped blue and white bag has all the actual makeup in. Now leh go.

As you all know my lipsticks, brow pomade and hats I go absolutely nowhere without them, to be honest I will quicker leave my iPad before I leave these items and that says a lot.
But I brought some mac lipsticks like RIRI WOO, Candy yum-yum and a new royal blue matte also I grabbed my Too Faced melted in violet, and my Make Up Forever poleax gloss in #500 and the wonderful step 1 primer.

I also packed my bronzers from Sephora and Make Up Forever, my handy go to brushes, Oh My Lash lashes, mascara from Benefit and Dior, my Mac prep and prime translucent powder, dark mineralized skinfinish and my new obsession Deepest dark pressed powder for contouring and last my copper pigment.

Now, I have seen reviews on YouTube about the new crave Velour Lashes, then I say it on the Sephora website and I really want to try it cause they are mink lashes and with the proper care it is supposed to last very long. But, for now I purchased the lash applicator on one end you have the side to comb your lashes and the other side is to apply the lashes.

Now onto my baby, FASHION, I got these to tank tops or bralettes whatever you want to call them from Torrid.com for a really great deal buy one get one half off and free shipping. My glasses collection I decided to walk with also the clear ones are from Calvin Klein, the floral ones are from Yersie and my denim  (they are actually made with denim) and they are from Diesel. Then I got my Bio True solution and my Air Optix.

Not pictured,  I am taking my Nikon camera, iPhone, iPod, Laptop and my selfie stick.

My suitcase is packed and stuffed and ready to go to Trinidad, see you guys on the other side.
