Watch the Queen Conquer.

This is my second time writing about this fantastic company Ready To Stare. Alysse (the designer) is bad to da bone her designs are amazing, fun and fashionable.

Ready to stare is at it again with the new Summer Body Chain Collection, Watch the Queen Conquer its all about powerful women living confidently, authentically and fierce honey. (All that's playing in my head right now is RuPaul's hawt joint "Sissy That Walk") Now back to the collection...

This collection features twelve different styles, body chains, head chains, anklets, belts and the piece de resistance leg candy I am so excited about this every plus size  girl has wanted a little leg jewelry to show off with a nice mini skirt or dress or even to pair with a nice pair of distressed short shorts. To top it all off each piece is named after famous and influential women such as Lucy Stone and Laverne Cox. Pieces range from $35-$99 and sizes start at S-5x that is so great.

I will post all the information below but I just need to let everyone know that I need that sexy, beautiful leg candy in my life. I already know what I will pair it with "Oh the ideas running through my head right now are ridiculous.

First let me apologize for the horrible quality of this video but I had to upload it today simply because I give myself a deadline for each and every post that I do. Once I announce it on Instagram it needs to be on my blog no later than Saturday of that same week. This is my very first video ever and yes, it is a bit crappy and my feelings are super hurt by it but what can I say or do....NOTHING!!! With that being said let's get started....

For once there is no lipsticks or clothes or shoes or hats in this post, can be a bit disappointing but on the other hand I am talking about another obsession.... MAKEUP!!!

I forgot to add the wonderful perfumes that I bought in the video. I was contemplating on get either both of the Elizabeth and James or getting one of the E&J and a different  perfume, so I went with option B and decided to go with the Black Nirvana cause it is my favorite one and I also picked up Stella McCartney. Even though I love to mix the two Elizabeth & James Nirvana White and Black it smells so YUMMY together. I just wanted to try something different and that is why I went with the Stella and not the Nirvana white but I am still going to buy it though.

The Kat Von D Contour and Eye Contour palette are the bomb, the contour palette for my complexion has a grey undertone some like it and others don't but its cool with me. The eye palette is super pigmented and I love it because it has all the grunge color that I like to use, if you don't know already from reading my older post I love the Boy George and Helena Bonham Carter (from Fight Club) look, whenever I wear eyeshadow those are the looks I always do.

I have yet to use any of the eyeliners or mascara but I am so excited to try them on, I have used the liner called Trooper before from KVD and it is 24hr long wear, glides on easily and smoothly. I've
swatch all three liners on my had and they did not bleed or smear all over the place.

Oh and if I was ever in a may be its Maybeline commercial this would be the song that I would want to walk down the street too.I would of course have on a bad ass hat from Simon and Mary, black skinny jeans, white sheer shirt, Jeffrey Campbell shoes and of course without a fucking doubt red lips. This song is badass I love it so much.

I wanted to try something a little different so I decided to do a brush test, basically a Sephora vs. M.A.C. Now, I love my Sephora brushes as much as I love my M.A.C brushes I did not realize that each brush would give me a different finish, sounds crazy, I know but its true. So this is why I decided to test them out cause I noticed that sometimes my foundation looked so flawless and perfect and then on other days my foundation looked kind of weird.

I used the same primer, foundation and concealer cause I wanted to be fair and keep everything the same. In the first set of face pictures (called Face 1) I used Sephora brushes #78 flawless foundation brush along with the pro blending brush #27. My makeup to me seemed like it was airbrushed on, no streaking an I didn't have to blend to much either, it was very easy to use.  I absolutely love the #78 brush and the prices are not bad on all the Sephora brushes, they range from $10-$40. The #27 brush worked really well and I will use it again (of course) no shedding, easy to use and applied concealer nicely.
* I will leave the prices below for each brush.

For Face 2 I used my M.A.C. brushes, now I adore my M.A.C. brushes they are my first set of professional brushes so it will always hold a special place in my heart, the applied my foundation nicely and I do prefer the M.A.C. blending brush over the Sephora blending brush. The only thing that I was a bit annoyed with the blending brush is that it left little hairs from the brush on my face.

Just for fun I used my Sephora fan brush which is okay I honestly prefer the MUFE large fan brush it is AMAZING!
The Anastasia #12 brush is also a favorite and it gets the lines perfect and applies the pomade so easily...love it.

Enjoy

Everyone knows that I am a true New Yorker, Yankee, Brooklynite whatever you want to call it. Its such a beautiful city filled with beautiful and interesting people, nobody is the same we are all unique in our own way. Five boroughs filled with different cultures, a city that is a huge melting pot with great fashion, great music,  great company and of course spectacular food.

The smell of piss, chinese food, stale pizza, an over flow of coffee cups, squeaking rats and a mixture of funky muggy sweat, I'm talking about our MTA its something that can be very disturbing to foreigners they might find it very disgusting and fowl. Our language is very different from others, the best way for me to describe it is, its like speaking in tongues it just another language that can even get complicated for some New Yorkers too.

Now, if you ask any New Yorker about the Beetles or if a new Yorker sees you wearing a Beetles t-shirt the first thing they say is "Awwww nice tee" then you say "Thank You!" Now here comes the test question... "Who is your favorite" without fail your answer better be John Lennon, because if you say anything else the shock and disappointment will be noticed and the conversation between the two off you will be dead. I mean it will be straight out attitude and disrespect, seriously.
I F@!king LOVE NEW YORK, A City so Nice They Named It Twice...
