Just a little something.

I did a little shopping today, nothing much really but I am quite happy with my purchases.

First stop, Trash & Vaudeville to pick up a BLONDIE vintage tee, truth be told I always pick up this tee it is my go too staple, especially on my "non dress up days" or "grunge looks".

Then I popped over to American Apparel just a couple of blocks away. I bought a baseball tee in the mens department and a pair of polka dot sheer socks.

Just before I hopped back on the Q train I stopped off at e.l.f (eyes.lips.face) very reasonably priced and great makeup. Price ranges from $1 on up, the most expensive thing that I bought was the primer for $6 and the brushes were all $3.

I love the primer and the concealer is really really good. I also purchased some eyebrow pencils, not too sure how I fell about them as yet but I'll keep you guys updated. Have yet to try out the Kohl pencil but it is very pigmented and that get a thumbs up.

I used all the products except for the kohl pencil, on my lips is riri boy, i love this lipstick.
enjoy.

HOME SWEET HOME.

If you didn't know then now you do, I am a full blooded New Yorker. Yup, I am and truth be told I love it... hell I super proud of it. Currently, I'm living in another state but my goal is to either move back home or head in another direction like London...who knows.

Doors are opening up for me so who knows where I will end up, it's all a mystery and I'm excited to see the outcome.

I didn't get a chance to do much shopping because unfortunately I didn't have enough time but I had to hit up one of my favorite stores, American Apparel.

I stopped at some of my fav eating spots, got a quick bite from PRET, then later snatched a burger at the Shake Shack where I enjoy my favorite black & white with fries and a stack. Then of course I had to hit up the Doughnut Plant where I bought a box of assorted doughnuts and a moroccan red tea to go... Oh Yea!!! I bought one of my favorite drinks the "cucumber lime" ice cold drink... OH MY GOSH it is so good.

If you haven't heard about the Essence street style then you need to check it out cause I'm not about to  go through all of THAT!!! but it is pretty cool. GOOGLE it... But I was so excited to be right there when they were premiering Ron Bass' chevy design...Brooklyn Stand up!!! Also check out jewelry/shoe designer Melody Ehsani and designer Kimberly Goldson they were also apart of the essence style chevy design...

Ok I won't be too much of an ass here are two links so you can read up on the designers...

Vanity Projects.

VANITY PROJECTS NYC

Vanity Projects is located on Chrystie St. one of my favorite areas in NY off of Grand St.
I booked my appointment weeks in advance with miku (you can check out her work on Instagram @mikutsutaya) first let me say I walked in only knowing that I wanted long almond shaped nails, I had no idea of the design I wanted but I knew I wanted something bright.

I was greeted by a really nice receptionist who offered me either water or an espresso, I opted for the ice cold water; right away I was seated and greeted then walked over Miku whose nails are super long and funky.

She started to work on my nails right away, NO TIPS only sculpted nails which was my very first experience so my cherry was popped.

The owner of the salon whose nails are also bangerz came over and spoke with me for awhile and encouraged me to go all out, so I did. I gave Miku freedom to do whatever she wanted and she did, she saw my bracelet that my sister made for me and got inspiration from it and the conclusion was what you see now. Bright pink, neon green, white geometric lines and blingage on each finger. Im official vanity projected, everywhere I go it's compliments on my nails. My nails are basically accessories for my fingerz. Feb. 13 I will be back home and I will be booking another appointment.

Chill day in Paris for this Brooklyn Baby.

Top - Torrid
Jeans - ASOS
Hat -  East village/ spikes DIY
Shoes - Y.R.U
Watch - MK

This outfit is inspired by my soon to be chill day in Paris. Just imagine a nice relaxing sunday with absolutely nothing to do except go to nice french cafe with a good book and a nice hot cup of coffee. Every once in awhile I'll pop my head out of the interesting book to check my phone and listen to the people surrounding me talk in French. Hopefully next year it will come to pass.
